Sensitive Treatment – Stage 2
Many people say they have sensitive skin due to products, environment or lifestyle factors, causing redness, irritation, stinging, flaking and dryness. The most commonly undiagnosed compromised skin condition is rosacea, which mainly affects the face presenting with a high degree of inflammation, pimples, dryness, flakiness and solid bumps underneath the skin. The skin will also react very quickly when in contact with external environmental aggressors such as pollution and extreme weather temperatures.
About this client journey
Our mildest treatment to target a highly sensitive skin with these characteristics is DermaQuest’s Lactic Acid Resurfacer. This treatment is hydrating and calming while also giving a gentle exfoliation to the surface of the skin. This will improve the appearance of the skin by reducing the redness and giving the skin a glow due to the hydrating qualities.
Derived from willow bark this is the only acid that is lipophilic, meaning it breaks through the oil in the skin. To help target more severe conditions our delicate salicylic resurfacer will reduce excess oil. It has antibacterial qualities to help fight infection, reduces inflammation in the sebaceous gland and increases cell turnover helping to repair the deeper layers on the epidermis. This helps reduce redness, flakiness and irritated skin.
Alongside the client journey shown – we also offer a bespoke client journey to include Dermalux FlexMD (LED light therapy) which is also highly recommended.
